Magnolia R&P Club is a private club open only to members and their guests.
To become a member of Magnolia, you must be 21 years or older, a US citizen, and can legally own/possess a firearm. Magnolia R&P club provides equal membership opportunities to all applicants for membership and all applications will be considered and/or approved without regard to the applicants race, sex, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, or statuses as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Membership can be obtained by completing the New Member Application Form and mailing it to the address provided on the form along with a check or money order or by completing the application and payment online. Once received, a background check will be conducted; provided you are not exempt from this requirement. You will then be scheduled to attend a Range Usage & Safety Course and upon successful completion of the course, you will be issued your Range Authorization Badge.
Membership dues/fee for new or past members is $225 ($125 Dues and $100 Non-Refundable Application Fee). The dues for renewing members (members who were active during the prior year) is $125.
The membership year begins on April 1 and ends on March 31 of the following year.
Applications are accepted from April 1st until August 30th of each year.
Membership dues/fee are not pro-rated and are $225 regardless of when during the membership year you join.
Spouses can obtain a Range Usage Badge in their name provide they successfully complete the Range Usage & Safety Course. Children living in the same household between the ages of 18 and 25, still in school, and who have attended the Range Usage & Safety Course can obtain a Range Usage Badge in their name provided they have successfully completed the Range Usage & Safety Course. The cost for each spouse or child’s badge is $50.00 per membership year.
Memberships are granted on an individual basis.
The background check is required to determine if the applicant can legally own and/or possess a firearm. Accordingly, the background check searches for felony convictions ONLY.
Members are permitted to bring up to three quests with them to the range. Guests are members responsibility and must be supervised at all times.
The range is open every day of the year and shooting may begin at 7:00am each day. The cease-fire time for shooting will be posted on the main entrance gate as it changes several times during the year based on daylight-savings times and the sunset tables. The cease-fire time is usually around sunset.
There are separate female and male restrooms located both in the main facility and the pavilion buildings.
Any type firearm (rimfire, centerfire, shotgun, Blackpowder) may be used provided it fires a projectile smaller than the .50 Caliber Browning Machine Gun(BMG) round. The .50 BMG or larger are not permitted on the range complex. Exploding targets and tracer/incendiary rounds are prohibited.
There are a number of active shooting programs hosted at the Magnolia Rifle & Pistol Club.
All Club members and their families are encouraged to participate in any or all of the competitions offered; especially ladies and juniors. Non-Members of MRPC are allowed to participate in our match programs as well. Please contact that Match Director for further information.
